What we look for
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Able to work at least 12 hours per week when school is in session and full time during semester breaks
General Mechanical Design skills (math, physics, statics, dynamics, part design)
CAD layout skills and related design organization skills, preferably Pro/E or Creo (other MCAD tools acceptable, such as SolidWorks)
Good communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
Proficient in MS Office
Experience with part fabrication, being able to use equipment such as a mill, lathe, band saw, drill press, etc.
Enrolled in, or completed, CAD modeling course
Understanding of general manufacturing processes such as injection molding, metal forming, and die cutting.
Experience with Mentor Graphics software
