Engineering Intern

Desired Qualifications:

A working knowledge and understanding of general construction practices of municipal infrastructure including roadway items, sanitary sewer and water main. Experience with roadway, sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer construction is preferred but not necessary. Desire to take an active role in quality assurance, inspection, and project management of the Village’s projects. Ability to operate and use GPS survey equipment. Knowledge and understanding of computer system operation, including but not limited to Microsoft Windows and AutoCAD software. Ability to read and understand basic computer generated drawings. Ability to perform basic math functions and calculate and enter data into software programs. Must be a student enrolled in a 4 year engineering degree program with a sophomore, junior, senior, masters, or doctoral status
