The best qualified candidates will have: Strong written and verbal communication skills; project management skills including organizing and managing multiple projects; ability to multi-task and take direction in a team environment; ability to attend occasional off-site and internal meetings; flexible and adapt/react to change; organized and able to prioritize; ability to understand organized labor’s mission including community service goals; ability to strategically utilize social media communications platforms, such as, Internet blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other online, social media, broadcast and print communication; knowledge of the labor movement and issues affecting working people is a plus; previous experience with Facebook Pages for Business, Google AdWords, & Facebook's promotional systems a plus, but not necessary; and previous experience with unions, student labor coalitions, community organizations or other labor related organizations is a plus, but not necessary.
