Welcome to The Forge! We are a young church, launched July 2nd 2017, located in downtown Jefferson. Our vision for this community is simple: Engage, Invest, Multiply. We are excited to invite you to become part of this amazing vision God has for this city and look forward to connecting with you! Nowadays, it seems we in the American church are quick to come up with new catchy and compelling ‘Mission Statements’ in an attempt to stand out from the crowd and get the attention of seekers, but the mission of the church has already been clearly established 2000 years ago by Jesus Himself. Matthew records in His Gospel one of the final statements of Christ affectionately known as The Great Commission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” We at The Forge Church have no desire to come up with something different, rather, Jesus’ words are clear and we feel they need not be changed or expanded upon. Because of that, our mission is simple: Engage, Invest and Multiply.
